This is a Conversation I am currently working on and will be adding to shortly. While exploring the use of colour, paint and the thereof as a metaphor, I feel that this exploration can not be complete or comprehensive if I don’t explore the lack or restriction of colour too. I am also influenced by the fact that black is used as the colour of death in many cultures and yet white is the colour of death in others. This traditional interpretations have always fascinated me and the related strong emotions.
